Welcome Message from Chair, BioSat 2026
It is our great pleasure and honor to welcome you to the International Conference on Biodiversity, Science, and Technology (BioSat 2026). This event is hosted by the Faculty of Science, Mahasarakham University, together with our valued partners: the Faculty of Technology and the Walairukhavej Botanical Research Institute. We welcome all respected scientists, researchers, students, and practitioners to this important conference.
Our Focus: The Evolution of the BCG Framework
BioSat is a leading platform for sharing global scientific knowledge, and BioSat 2026 marks a key moment in our history. Our conference series started in 2024 with the theme "Bio-Circular Green Model," setting the groundwork for adding sustainability principles into core research. We built on this in BioSat 2025 with the theme "The BCG Model for a Sustainable Future," focusing on creating strong solutions.
For BioSat 2026, we proudly move forward with the theme "The BCG Model for Sustainability and Community Development." This new focus means we connect advanced scientific discoveries directly to visible, positive results for communities. Our goal is to create a vibrant meeting place for experts to work together, share ideas, and find new solutions using the Bio-Circular-Green principles. We aim for fair and environmentally safe results for society.
Conference Goals and Venue
Our main goal remains simple: to improve our understanding of the links between biodiversity, science, and technology, and to plan a successful path forward. We are excited to hold this year's conference in Khon Kaen, Thailand, from January 15–16, 2026. Khon Kaen is an excellent location to see how scientific research can be practically used in local community projects—a vital part of the BCG approach for regional growth.
We are also pleased to continue supporting future scientists by dedicating Session VIII to the Youth Researcher and Emerging Scientists Forum. We invite you to join us for two days of valuable discussion, networking, and knowledge sharing that will be both scientifically rewarding and personally enriching.
We look forward to meeting you in Khon Kaen. Thank you for sharing your expertise at BioSat 2026. Let's work together to create a sustainable future.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Sunan Saikrasun
Chair of the BioSat 2026 Organizing Committee
