Session VIII: Youth Researcher and Emerging Scientists Forum (Junior Researcher)
This session is dedicated to fostering the participation of high school students and emerging young scientists in the scientific community. It provides an opportunity to present research findings, innovative projects, and scientific ideas across all disciplines of science and technology. The forum aims to cultivate research skills, encourage academic curiosity, and inspire future contributions toward scientific advancement and sustainable development.

Guidebook – Session VIII: Junior Researcher Session (High School Student Presentations)

In addition to the regular conference sessions, BioSat2026 offers opportunities for high school students to present their research achievements and engage in academic discussions with researchers.

General Provisions
1. Participants must be high school students.
2. Each team may consist of a maximum of 3 students.
3. Each team must have 1 supervisor/mentor.
4. Each team is allowed to submit only 1 project.
5. Each participant may be listed in a maximum of 2 projects.
6. Participation is limited to 80 teams only, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration
• Fee: 4,500 Baht per team (one-day registration)
The fee includes:
• Conference bag
• Morning refreshment and lunch box (January 16, 2026)
• Abstract Book
• E-certificates for each student and the supervisor

Presentation Format
• Type: Poster Presentation only
• Poster size: a maximum size of 80 cm × 120 cm, portrait orientation
• Language: All posters and presentations must be in English
• Poster setup: Posters should be mounted on the morning of January 16, 2026, at least 30 minutes before the session starts
• Presentation time: Each team will have 5 minutes for oral presentation, followed by up to 5 minutes of Q&A, with a maximum total of 10 minutes per team
• Poster boards and Velcro will be provided by the organizers


Awards & Certificates
Projects will be evaluated and medals conferred as follows:
• Gold Medal: Score 80-100
• Silver Medal: Score 70-79
• Bronze Medal: Score 60-69
• Honorable Mention: Score below 60


Award Ceremony
Winning teams will be announced during the award ceremony on January 16, 2026, with Gold Medal teams presented with a printed certificate and invited on stage to receive recognition and take photos with the official award backdrop. No physical medals will be presented.


Certificates
Teams receiving Silver Medal, Bronze Medal, Honorable Mention, as well as all registered conference participants, may download their electronic certificates (E-certificates) from https://biosat.msu.ac.th between January 19, 2026 and February 28, 2026
