History of BioSat
The International Conference on Biodiversity, Science, and Technology (BioSat) stands as a premier platform for global scientific exchange. Since its inception, BioSat has been organized through the collaborative synergy of the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Technology, and the Walairukhavej Botanical Research Institute at Mahasarakham University (MSU). Our joint mission is to converge leading minds dedicated to advancing our understanding and harnessing the potential of biodiversity, science, and technology to address the critical challenges of our time.
Thematic Evolution of BioSat
BioSat 2024
The BioSat conference series commenced its mission in Pattaya on January 25–26, 2024, setting a crucial precedent with the theme "Bio-Circular Green Model." This inaugural event successfully established the foundation for our ongoing commitment to global sustainability. Discussions focused on introducing the integrated principles of the BCG framework—leveraging biodiversity, promoting circular systems, and embracing environmentally friendly technologies. This strategic focus ensured the conference immediately positioned itself as a platform for harmonizing scientific advancement with crucial societal and ecological needs.

BioSat 2025
Building dynamically on the established groundwork, BioSat 2025 was held in Pattaya from January 16–17, 2025, and advanced the conversation under the theme "The BCG Model for a Sustainable Future." This event transitioned from conceptual introduction to deep-dive application, focusing on developing and sharing innovative solutions that seamlessly blend natural power with responsible practices. Participants collaborated intensely on how to harness the immense potential of bioresources and prioritize circular systems, collectively working toward the goal of building a resilient and thriving future for generations to come.

BioSat 2026
For the upcoming conference, BioSat 2026, the focus strategically evolves to "The BCG Model for Sustainability and Community Development," as we proudly host the event in Khon Kaen from January 15–16, 2026. This evolution reflects our aim to bridge the gap between cutting-edge scientific innovation and tangible, real-world community impact. We are particularly excited this year to include the Youth Researcher and Emerging Scientists Forum, dedicating a session to fostering scientific inquiry among high school researchers. We invite all esteemed scientists, practitioners, and students to join us in a dynamic exchange of ideas that directly addresses how the BCG Model can be practically applied to create equitable, ecologically sound, and prosperous outcomes for communities globally.
